Professional Training Workshops
Bridging the Gap Between Theory and Practice
Real change begins with education. Guided by this principle, I have curated and facilitated a series of professional development workshops aimed at empowering the next generation of professionals.
Hosted at Abdus Sami Psychiatric Clinic, these sessions were meticulously coordinated in collaboration with field-leading experts. From initiating speaker invitations to overseeing logistics, every detail was thoughtfully managed to ensure a high-impact, ethically grounded learning environment.
The core objective was to translate theoretical knowledge into culturally sensitive, trauma-informed therapeutic practices. These workshops provided aspiring psychologists with opportunities to engage in experiential learning, gain insight from practitioners, and strengthen their clinical judgment.
Topics covered ranged from cognitive processing therapy and substance use interventions to emotional regulation, burnout prevention, and psychotropic medication management. Collectively, these sessions contributed to shaping more informed, reflective, and ethically aware professionals in the mental health space.
